Twitter Blue makes its first 'official appearance' in India

Twitter's subscription service, Twitter Blue, seems to have finally come to users in India. We found the Twitter Blue icon at the sidebar on the Twitter web, clicking which opened a pop-up showing the perks of the Twitter Blue subscription. However, right now, there is no option to pay and subscribe to Twitter Blue in India.

Twitter recently expanded its Blue subscription to Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, making it available in a total of 12 countries.
It is likely that Twitter could soon introduce the Blue subscription for users in India. As of now, there is no word on how much the subscription will cost in India.
How much does Twitter Blue costs
Twitter Blue comes at $8 per month on the web, while it costs $11 on iOS and Android. There is also a yearly plan which is priced at $84. So far, there is no word on how much Twitter Blue will cost in India.
What do you get with Twitter Blue
Twitter’s subscription entitles users with the blue ‘verified’ checkmark. However, the user needs to verify their phone number, and only after due diligence the blue check will be approved.
If you have paid for the Blue subscription and verified, your tweets and replies will be shown at the top, as Twitter will prioritise tweets and replies from verified users.
Further, Blue subscribers will see fewer ads, to be exact 50 per cent fewer advertisements on their Twitter feed. Also, subscribers will be allowed to longer videos of up to 1 hour.
Users will also get to undo and edit tweets for up to 5 times within 30 minutes. Further, the subscribers will be able to set an NFT as their profile picture. And these subscribers can also post 1080P videos, which is not available for other users.
