And I was like, Wait a minute. So you're trying to tell me that if I'm not constantly growing and striving and doing more for this company, then I'm incompetent, right. And I think that's not what he meant. But the fact that that is an established norm within corporate America says a lot about kind of who we are as a society and just how backwards we are. Because that's literally the same mindset that has gotten us into the environmental crises that we are in

And I yeah, just I really hope one day we can have a society where, you know, we can really have a work life balance and not feel like we have to keep going and keep doing more. But I really appreciate your share. Thank you so much

It. Hello. I'm really glad that you found this helpful. Sorry, I have kind of a cold. Yeah, definitely. I mean, definitely hearing you on this feeling that you don't have a real job because you're not working in corporate America, which is kind of the at least in the US. It feels like that's the standard for a real job

Before you start feeding me roles such as where you work, who you're married to, who you're dating, who you are the parent of who are you? Because you were that before all of those other things. You just didn't come out of your mother's womb being in a profession or being someone's parent or being someone's girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other, lover or a spouse, right? Who are you?
