Just when I want to be left alone to deal with my shit, some uncle comes along and gives gyan on how this too shall pass. Especially those who pretend to know my situation and offer impractical, random advice. That's what I thought when I was 30.
The good news is, you don't need to worry about those uncles anymore. They are dead or gone.
Now you have new ones. Who knows shit. They've been through it and learned how to deal with it. Even if I can cheer up 1 person going through tough shit, I'd die happy knowing at least I tried doing something about it instead of quietly quitting on them.
So, If you're feeling like that duck struggling to cross the river infested with snappy crocs, consider tuning in to this simple straight talk, BasTalk; it's about the shit no one tells you at work. Despite the toothy crocs in the river, the duck crosses it. It might not look pretty and sound great, but it sure has some chutzpah. Let's just duck it.
