We have been focusing a lot on controlling the sugar only for maintaining a good physical health. But did you know that how badly this excessive intake of sugar is going to impact your mental health? Today, in my wellcast, I'm going to be discussing what are the four major areas where sugar is going to play a detrimental role in your mental wellbeing. The very first being depression. A high blood sugar level in your blood can actually accentuate your symptoms of mood disorders

Hey Swati, I agree that yes, you are right. The consumption of excessive sugar can have a various harmful effects on mental health. Like if I state something, it can be mood swings. And it would be like wonder to everyone like how a mood swing can be caused by the excess of intake of the sugar. Soya consuming high amount of sugar can lead to the rapid fluctuations in the blood sugar level

Hey Swati. Thank you for this. Well, I think you are right. Multiple studies have found a link between diet, science, sugar and depression. Over consumption of sugar triggers imbalance in certain brain chemicals. These imbalances can lead to depression. May even increase the long term risk of developing a mental health disorder in some people. And it also affects on our brain hybrid sugar overt damages blood vessels in the brain that carry oxygen rich blood
