And you might have a difficult time focusing on the good things and the positive things in your life when you are sad and angry. And also, don't be too hard on yourself for having your negative feelings. In other words, don't say like, oh, I'm mad for being mad, or I'm sad for being sad, or I'm depressed that I'm depressed. Like, allow yourself to have your negative emotions. Just don't get stuck in them

🌱 Laura gives an anaolgy for moving past anger.

So I just wanted to make that correction that we have 86,400 seconds in our day, and we don't want to allow the entirety of our day to be ruined because, let's say, a couple of minutes were unpleasant or undesirable. So don't get stuck in the negative. Focus on the positive. Thanks for listening, and I'll see you in the next one. Bye for now

Hey, Laura, I think these 86,400 seconds, this will episode of yours, you know, it has a very deep meaning to it. And the way you explain about, you know, how you need to think about what you are left with and the people who are not thankful of what they are left with and and always been thinking about what they spend or what they have lost and in search of that, they waste their time and that precious time

Which doesn't necessarily mean to never, ever think about the bad things, because we need to have that contrast in order to appreciate the good things. Because we don't appreciate the good things unless we have something to compare it to, right?
