Gift - a short story

article image placeholderUploaded by @peeli
There was a bit of excitement in his face, as expected, and he smiled at me, sizing the moment. I slowly but cautiously put forth the idea of buying the gold earring for my best friend Chetali, a wedding present. I could feel the tension in the air brewing up

A story of a struggle vs courage and gift of friendship

I reached home somehow just minutes before Joseph was there for lunch. I kept the earring start box at the dining table so that Joseph will notice it nena. Where did this come from? I could hear him asking while I was in the restroom. I walked into the dining room and I told with quiet confidence I had to buy this for Chitali. So I used a part of my household expense money you gave. I hope that's okay with you. The expression on Joseph's face was priceless

But I still have these excuses of thinking that oh, I don't have a time, I work too much, I'm very busy and working but I think that is an excuse. I could make time to put something in written. But thank you again to listening for listening

I still have a few, but nothing so serious as such. But I used to write yeah, those are my feelings. There's nothing as short story, a little bit of poems I used to write and seriously getting into it was in the last two and a half years when I started my short story, my real book writing

And that's a waste. What I was trying to avoid, that won't continue. I know. Keep on writing things. Now. Thank you for your advice and also for your book. I'd be curious to know is that book will be publicized in India, right. So I may not have access to it, but I would like to know how that went. If you can share what you can. Thank you. All right. I appreciate you and love you back. Thank you

Of course, there should be a book where you should be able to book or put an iPad or anywhere you can just pen it down. Usually nowadays I use my iPad a lot because it's easier to pen it down. And that helps me, actually. And as far as my book publishing, I still haven't found a publisher
