Cacao is said to be a medicine of the heart or a heart opener. It invites us to love ourselves on a deeper level and as our hearts open our ability to experience gratitude expands.

Research shows that being grateful can have a profound impact on our mood, healing journey, overcoming challenges, and overall well-being.

What to expect?

We will explore the theme of gratitude and heart opening through playful movement & drama games. Then you will be guided through a powerful cacao ritual, meditation, and a sound bath with singing bowls (Yes you get to drink the delicious cacao medicine!). All participants will then be invited to journal and create visual arts (We provide you with a variety of art materials). You will get to share and process your experience, and close the workshop with positive affirmations.

Get ready for a potent and unforgettable experience!

what is creative arts?

Creative arts  is the use of visual arts, music, drama, dance/movement, sound, poetry/writing, play and meditation in a supportive setting to facilitate growth and healing. It is a process of discovering ourselves through any art form that comes from an emotional depth. It is not about creating art that is "pretty" or ready for the stage. It is about authentically expressing inner feelings by creating outer forms. A fun and deep experience!

WHAT:

Explore the archetypes through the spirit of Halloween!

In life we all play different roles and sometimes we might get stuck focusing too much on a certain role.

Archetypes inform our self-image, influence how we see the world, and direct many of the actions we take as we navigate and create our realities. Becoming aware of your personal set of archetypes, and how they influence your behavior will give you important insights into your biological & emotional urges.

In the playful spirit of Halloween, we want to invite you to explore and transform into the different roles you wish to embody in life. Exploring your different roles helps enhance your personal growth.

What to expect?

We will explore the theme of archetypes through the creative arts, including movement, meditation, writing, visual arts making, and role play.

This workshop is held in a supportive and playful environment that fosters freedom of creativity.

No artistic experience is necessary.

WHAT:

What would happen if you permitted yourself to be more playful and creative?

Ida & Shlomit, in collaboration with BushBox NYC, invite you to immerse yourself in a playful experience to enhance your quality of life!

As adults, we get stuck in the seriousness of life. We stop being playful, believing that play is just for kids. However, engaging in play is fundamental in our stressful lives. Play allows us to release endorphins, improve brain functionality, and stimulate creativity.

We invite you to awaken your playful self for a happier life through the power of the Creative Arts, using tools such as storytelling, art-making, acting, meditation, and movement in community.
